Rodrigo Samayoa Valiente es un profesional de Desarrollo de Negocios Sostenibles con más de quince años de experiencia en Sostenibilidad Ambiental y Gobierno Corporativo. Ha trabajado para corporaciones, gobiernos y organizaciones privadas como el Banco Mundial, USAID, USTDA y AECID. Biólogo de profesión con maestría en Gestión de Áreas Naturales Protegidas y estudios de posgrado en Gestión Estratégica de la Sostenibilidad y Finanzas Corporativas. Autor del libro sobre el cambio climático, quince artículos científicos, más de cien columnas de opinión y artículos informativos para periódicos y revistas. Además, ha participado como ponente en siete países diferentes para conferencias y simposios relacionados con la Sostenibilidad Ambiental y el Gobierno Corporativo. Actualmente es el director de Asuntos Corporativos y Sostenibilidad de Grupo Ternova; y el presidente del Consejo Empresarial Salvadoreño para el Desarrollo Sostenible.

Rodrigo Samayoa Valiente is a Sustainable Business Development professional with more than fifteen years of experience in Environmental Sustainability and Corporate Governance. He has worked for corporations, governments, and private organizations such as the World Bank, USAID, United States Trade and Development Agency, and the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation. Biologist by profession with a master’s degree in management of Protected Natural Areas and postgraduate studies in Strategic Management of Sustainability and Corporate Finance. Author of the book on climate change, fifteen scientific articles, more than one hundred opinion columns and informative articles for newspapers and magazines. In addition, he has participated as a speaker in seven different countries for conferences and symposia related to Environmental Sustainability and Corporate Governance. He is currently the Director of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability of Grupo Ternova, and the president of the Salvadoran Business Council for Sustainable Development.
